This has been a busy but great weekend. Late friday evening me and my wife Astrid went to the airport to pick up her oldest son, Tobias. Tobias is the guitar hero of our band, The Taylors and the reason for his visit was as usual a new show with the band.
The show was on saturday evening and the event was a "Oktoberfest" in traditional style. Traditional in the sence that they served german sausages, sauer kraut and of course a lot of beer! And best of all, a 12 men "umpa umpa" orchestra. (I wonder if anyone outside Europe will recognize that musical description, please tell me).
Well, after all eating it was time for us to do our job, and it became a great show. We're really played our best and the crowd really liked us. Those are the moments when it is so great to be on stage and just roll with it!
After the show the weather really had changed and roads were covered with snow. But the ride home went smooth and we came home three in the morning. Sunday was a relaxing day enjoying good eating with the family.
